Printers using ZPL (Note: This command is available only for printers with firmware version V60.14.x, V50.14.x, or later.)

Details

A user may want to print a limited number of characters from a database or other sources. If there is a known number of characters needed one can limit the viewed characters using the ZPL Text Block command.

Procedure

Place a Text Block (^TB) around the text you wish to view. The remaining text outside of the Text Block will not be printed.

Example 

^XA^FO50,50^ADN,36,20^TBN,350,35^FDText for Label and More^FS^XZ

Note: You may be limited to fixed-width (non-proportional) fonts to avoid variable spacing between characters such a “W” and “I”. Test your application for proper character presentation.
