Description

Using CPCL you can change the tear off position of your label if you require it to feed past the tear bar

Applies To

All CPCL enabled Zebra Mobile Printers

Excludes: ZQ110, EM220, EM220II

Overview

The media tear off position can be modified using the PRESENT-AT command.  The PRESENT-AT command can be sent inside of a label format or can be used with a UTILITIES command.

Procedure

Command Syntax:  command length delay

command:   PRESENT-AT

length:  The length in dots that the media will advance after printing and to be retracted before printing the next label

delay:  The time interval in 1/8 of a second that the printer will delay after printing before advancing the media  (Example:  A value of 4 would be equal to 1/2 second   (4/8))

One can also include a PRESENT-AT command inside of a file that is executed on bootup such as the autoexec.bat, config.sys or run.bat files.
