Setting the printer's Power Up or Head Open setting to Feed results in multiple labels feeding. 

Why do I get more than one label when the printer is set to Feed on Power Up or after Head Open

Details

Regarding the Media Feed setting set to "Feed" (feeds one label)

The printer needs to detect the media top of form using the selected sensor. If the printer sensor distance to the resting position is greater than the label size more than one label will be fed.

The only alternative is to set the Media Feed value to "No Motion"
