Removing track delimiters from the output of the CPCL MCR command
Article ID: 90784856
Topic or Information
When using the MCR reader on the Zebra Road Warrior and Road Warrior Print Station, the CPCL MCR command is used to read a magnetic card. The data returned from the reader is preceded by a track delimiter. The default is to precede the track data with the letter "T", the number of the track, and a colon.

In some cases it may be desirable to exclude this information from the returned data stream. To do this, two steps are necessary; turn off track number reporting, and use the DEL option followed by two null characters. The following MCR command examples show the default results, and the results with the track delimiters removed.
Please refer to the CPCL Programmer's Manual for information on using the MCR command and its available options. Read more>>
