Details

Special consideration needs to take place when using the backslash '\' character. A user name requiring a backslash should take note of this requirement.

Many instances require two backslash characters to be entered on the printer to represent a single backslash.

Example: ! U1 setvar "wlan.leap_password" "123\\4567890"
In this example, to match a password of "123\4567890" on the radius server, two backlashes are entered. 

Example:  ! U1 setvar "wlan.leap_username" "user\\\\name"
In the above example, to match a username of "user\\name"  on the radius server, four backslashes are entered.
