Ready-To-Use Indicators

HEATmarker®

When applied to temperature-sensitive products, HEATmarker® time-temperature indicators manufactured by Temptime®, gradually change colour when exposed to heat over time.

Watch for Combined Effects of Time and Heat

Because the combined effects of time and temperature cause gradual and cumulative degradation of many temperature-sensitive medical products, HEATmarker® time-temperature indicators monitor heat exposure and provide an irreversible visual signal of exposure over time. The coloured laminate enables reliable indication for use on outside packaging subjected to indoor light. The response time and temperature of each HEATmarker make up its temperature profile. The indicator reaches its endpoint when it has been exposed to the limits of its temperature profile.

Make Time-Temperature Monitoring Easy
Make Time-Temperature Monitoring Easy

HEATmarker features colour-changing technology enabling the identification of potentially degraded products so action can be confidently taken. The indication area, initially light in colour, becomes darker when exposed to heat. When the cumulative heat exposure has reached the limits of its profile, the indicator will either be the same colour as or darker than the outer ring surrounding it.

Preserve Product Supplies
Preserve Product Supplies

HEATmarker provides a visual cue to allow users to preserve product supplies and maximise inventory efficiencies by using products that haven’t reached their end points, and disposing of only those products with HEATmarkers that have reached their endpoints.

Sophisticated Chemistry Supports a Variety of Product Stabilities
Sophisticated Chemistry Supports a Variety of Product Stabilities

Featuring patented technology, HEATmarkers are available in options to support the stability of your product. For example, HEATmarker Hx indicator (37°C specification temperature) with 9 days to end point would be used for a less stable product while a HEATmarker Hx indicator with 36 days to end point would be used for a more stable product.
