The Zebra 8100D dual-color thermal label is an environmentally friendly printing material made from BPA-free thermal paper. This label supports black and red (default color) printing on thermal printers by adjusting the printer’s temperature to control the color development of the ink. It is easy to use, requires no extra ribbons, and reduces maintenance costs. Users simply need to pair it with a compatible Zebra printer that supports dual-color printing, which can easily achieve high-quality dual-color printing through customized firmware.
Key Features
• Direct thermal, smooth paper label with a permanent acrylic adhesive.
• Consist of two ink layers of heat-sensitive material, each corresponding to a different melting point. When heated, one layer changes color at a lower temperature, while the other layer does so at a higher temperature, allowing for dual-color printing.
• Dual color labels are particularly designed for situations where certain information needs to be emphasized, such as food and beverage labeling, warning signs, and reminder labels, providing a strong visual impact.
