How to Uninstall a Zebra Driver
Step 1
From the Start Menu:
Open (or type in)
Control Panel
Select:
Devices and Printers
We suggest adjusting your
View by setting (upper right
corner) to Large icons
Step 2
You will see a list of
installed printers:
Click Add a printer
Step 3
Click The printer that I want
isn't listed
Step 4
Choose Add a local printer or network
printer with manual settings
Click Next
Step 5
Under Choose a printer port, select:
Create a new port
From the Type of port drop-down
menu, select:
Standard TCP/IP Port
Click Next
Step 6
Type in your IP address
Uncheck the box for Query the
printer and automatically select
the driver to use
Click Next
Windows will detect the TCP/IP port
and automatically move to the
next screen when complete.
Step 7
Confirm the follow settings are
automatically selected on the
Additional Port information screen:
Standard
and
Generic Network Card
Click Next
Step 8
Click ZDesigner in the
Manufacturer list
Select the ZDesigner driver option
for your model of printer (ZT410 is
shown here as an example)
If you are unsure of your printer's
language, select ZPL.
Click Next
Note: selecting the wrong DPI will not
harm your printer, but it may result in
your label image printing too large or
small. This can be corrected during
printer configuration.
Step 9
The system will pick a default
printer name.
Click Next
Step 10
Select Do not share
this printer
Click Next
Setting up a shared printer is
outside the scope of this module.
Step 11
Click Finish
We suggest you do not print a
test page or set the printer as default
until a printer connection is established
and media loaded.
