Your Privacy Choices

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information (California Consumer Privacy Rights)

Your Right to Opt-Out of the “Sale” or “Sharing” of Personal Information (CCPA/CPRA)
If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), gives you the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. This means you can instruct businesses, including Zebra Technologies (“Zebra”), not to sell or share your personal data with third parties for purposes such as advertising.

Under California law, “sell” and “share” are defined broadly. In simple terms, “sell” means transferring your personal information to another business for money or other valuable consideration. “Share” means disclosing your personal information to a third party for cross-context behavioral advertising (for example, sharing data with advertising partners so they can show you targeted ads across different websites).

Zebra’s Policy on Selling or Sharing Personal Data
Zebra does not exchange your personal information for money. However, California law defines “sale” and “sharing” broadly. Certain advertising activities, including the use of third-party advertising cookies, pixels, similar technologies, and hashed identifiers for audience matching, may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under California law. California residents may opt out of these activities by using the options on this page.

Your Privacy Choices, How to Opt Out
As a California consumer, you have the right to direct Zebra not to sell or share your personal information. You can exercise this right through any of the following methods:

  • Web Form / Online Request: Please complete and submit the opt-out form on this page to register your choice. By submitting the form or clicking the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” confirmation button, you will instruct Zebra to opt you out of any sale or sharing of your personal data.
  • Cookie Preferences: You can manage your preferences for targeted advertising cookies and similar technologies on our website. Simply visit our Cookie Preferences (Privacy Preference Center) and disable Advertising or Marketing cookies (if applicable). Disabling these cookies will ensure that third-party advertising partners do not receive your personal information for cross-site behavioral advertising.
  • Global Privacy Control (GPC) Signal: If your browser or extension sends a Global Privacy Control signal, Zebra will treat that signal as a request to opt out of sale or sharing for that browser or device, including by blocking or disabling targeting and advertising cookies where required. Because Zebra does not require users to log in to zebra.com, a browser-level signal may not identify your offline customer profile or email address. To opt your email address out of offline list-sharing and targeted advertising audience creation, please submit the form on this page.

Because we do not require users to log in to our websites, we cannot automatically link an anonymous browser-level GPC signal to your offline customer profile (such as your email address). To opt your email address or customer profile out of our offline list-sharing and targeted advertising audiences, please submit your email address using our Interactive Opt-Out Form (or click the "Your Privacy Choices" link in our website footer).

  • Email or Phone: You can also contact the Zebra Privacy Team directly. Email us at privacy@zebra.com or, if a California resident, call us toll-free at +1 (877) 561-8503 to request that we not sell or share your personal information. Please include your name, contact information, and a statement that you are a California resident requesting to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
  • Mail: If you prefer, you may write to us at the following address to submit your opt-out request:
    Zebra Technologies Corporation
3 Overlook Point, Lincolnshire, IL 60069, USA
    Attn: Privacy Office

Scope of Your Opt-Out Request
Once we receive and process your opt-out request, we will not sell or share your personal data unless you later direct us to do so (for example, if you decide to opt back in to certain data sharing). Opt-out choices for targeted advertising cookies or browser signals are typically specific to the device and browser you use. If you use multiple browsers or devices, please adjust your settings or submit opt-out requests on each one.

Verification and Authorized Agents
Zebra does not require you to verify your identity to opt out of sale or sharing. Zebra may ask for information needed to process the request, such as the email address that should be suppressed, or to evaluate a good-faith fraud concern. If an authorized agent submits a request, Zebra may request proof of signed permission as permitted by law. We may ask for additional information if needed to fulfill the request. If you authorize someone else to submit an opt-out request on your behalf, we may require written permission or other documentation demonstrating that the person is authorized to act for you, and we may also verify your own identity directly to ensure the request is legitimate.

Limit the Use of Sensitive Personal Information
Under CPRA, California residents also have the right to limit the use and disclosure of Sensitive Personal Information. Sensitive personal information includes certain kinds of data like precise geolocation, account login credentials, biometric identifiers, and other sensitive details. Zebra does not use or disclose sensitive personal data for any purposes beyond what is necessary to provide our products and services or as otherwise permitted by law. If, however, you wish to exercise your right to further limit the use of your sensitive personal information, please contact us through any of the methods above. We will apply any requested limitations to the extent required by law.

No Retaliation or Discrimination
Zebra will not discriminate against you in any way for exercising your privacy rights under CCPA/CPRA. You will continue to receive the same quality of products and services from us even if you opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information. We will not deny you goods or services, charge you different prices, or provide you with a different level of quality just because you exercised your rights.
