ZeroLiner Benefits

There is a unique combination of benefits where the absence of a liner allows for more labels per roll and no waste having both environmental and safety implications in applications.  There is an immediate waste reduction via reduced roll volume which takes less space, less manpower and a huge saving on liner take up equipment as this is no longer required. There would also be an increase in productivity as fewer roll changes would be needed in the printer or on press.

The manufacturing journey of ZeroLiner label is significantly shorter than that of linered labels, resulting in overall CO2 savings through less transport and manufacturing. As label liner is difficult to recycle, the waste usually ends up in landfill, being burnt for fuel or being stored in large volumes before being collected for recycling, which can lead to cluttered work areas and sometimes accidents. With ZeroLiner the above does not apply. Once you have applied your labels you’re finished.

Simplified Printing–No Ribbon Required

The ZeroLiner 2000D is compatible with Zebra direct thermal, mobile and desktop printers, providing all the benefits of direct thermal printing -there’s no ribbon to stock, monitor and replenish with the added benefit of having no liner to dispose of.

ZeroLiner Printers

Zebra’s Linerless capable printers feature specially designed platen rollers and cutters. Zebra’s ZeroLiner labels are created to give the best performance by printer type.

• Industrial printers require media that is suited to high volume printing and cutting. Typically used in demanding environments where speed and consistency are essential and down-time must be avoided.

• Desktop printers require a fuss free media solution that can perform well with minimal wear and tear on cutters and platen rollers.

• Mobile printers need media which feeds smoothly without adding stress to the motor, limits adhesive contamination and adheres well in intended application.

All Zebra ZeroLiner linerless medias are thoroughly tested and approved by Zebra to give customers the optimum performance in the designated Zebra printers.
