Humidity Resistance

Many mobile workers find themselves encountering warm, humid environments while on the job and demand a humidity-resistant tablet that's MIL-STD 810G tested to withstand this environmental element. Fortunately, Zebra's high performance, humidity-resistant and moisture-resistant tablets fit the bill. So whether you're frequently inspecting utility assets outside in tropical locales or storing your ruggedized tablet PC in a non-operating vehicle with high relative humidity, Zebra humidity-resistant tablets can take the heat.

Zebra MIL-STD-810G Humidity-Tested & Humidity-Resistant Tablet PCs

Zebra moisture-resistant tablets are built to withstand humidity, whether it's caused by the natural climate outside or created in a climate-controlled enclosure. In fact, Zebra thoroughly tests its ruggedized mobile computing solutions to MIL-STD-810G standards to ensure high performance in both natural cycle humidity and non-condensing environments for several days at a time.

We typically evaluate the performance of our rugged tablets for periods of 10 days in natural cycle humidity and up to 30 days in non-condensing humidity. The Zebra XSLATE L10 rugged tablet, for example, can withstand humidity levels up to 95 percent at temperatures ranging from 23 °C to 60 °C / 73 °F to 140 °F in non-condensing environments for up to 10 days and in natural cycle humidity (Fig 507.5-6, non-hazardous B3 Class) for up to 30 days.
