The power tools dealer increases its inventory turnover with a more efficient order handling process
BUENOS AIRES, Argentina – Nov. 20, 2023 – Zebra Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ: ZBRA), a leading digital solution provider enabling businesses to intelligently connect data, assets, and people, today announced Lusqtoff, an Argentinian dealer of industrial power tools, has improved its inventory visibility. By using Zebra solutions, Lusqtoff has also reduced human errors, inherent in manual-based systems, by 90% in its warehouse.
Lusqtoff faced poor demand forecasting and limited operational visibility prior to implementing Zebra warehouse solutions. To enhance inventory management, align workflows and augment supply chain traceability, the business deployed Zebra’s mobile computers and desktop printers.
“We selected Zebra because it has extensive experience in warehouse modernization, excellent user support and a portfolio aligned to our needs,” said Nicolás Torre, Operations Manager, Lusqtoff. “Zebra helps us access accurate inventory data which enables our distribution, procurement and warehouse employees to work from the same information. In addition to improving our stock turnover, this alignment has increased our sales by 40% year over year.”
Using Zebra’s ZD420 desktop printers, Lusqtoff has organized items, shelves and boxes across the warehouse to increase visibility and accelerate inbound, picking, packing and outbound operations. The location of goods throughout the warehouse can be viewed in real-time, and orders are quickly prepared with Zebra’s MC3300 mobile computers. In fact, the time to locate products has dropped by 60% and staff productivity has increased 120% which helps lead to greater customer satisfaction.
Zebra Premier Solution partner, Symbar, supported Lusqtoff with a Block-Warehouse Management System (WMS) which enables real-time traceability and supply chain collaboration. “We understood Lusqtoff’s requirement to have a management tool that helps improve efficiency and service levels at the warehouse,” expressed Diego del Popolo, Regional Account Manager, Symbar. “It was essential for us to count on Zebra’s quality solutions and expertise in warehouse modernization to drive the right outcomes.”
According to Zebra’s Global Warehouse Vision Study, decision-makers named three current challenges they are facing on their operations; they are fast delivery, costs reduction and inventory accuracy. The Zebra-Symbar solution provides Lusqtoff a faster order handling process and operational precision, while keeping warehouse management costs to a minimum.
“Zebra has set a new standard to guide and accelerate warehouse modernization—fully supported by decades of field-proven innovation and experience from thousands of warehousing implementations and use cases,” said Alejandro Prosperi, Vice President of Sales and General Manager for South of Latin America. “The perfect time to modernize warehouses is now, and Zebra helps companies like Lusqtoff connect every mobile worker to their WMS and capture each inventory move for holistic control and visibility.”
