Forza Cash Logistics Increases Field Worker Productivity by 20% with Zebra Technologies

Transportation and logistics company optimized its en route operations and customer service with scanning, mobile computing and printing solutions

GUATEMALA CITY, Guatemala – March 16, 2022 - Zebra Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ: ZBRA), an innovator at the front line of business with solutions and partners that deliver a performance edge, today announced that Forza Cash Logistics, a regional valuables transport company in Latin America, selected Zebra solutions to increase its efficiency and parcel delivery capabilities. As a result, the courier has improved delivery times by 25%.

In order to meet the delivery expectations of its customers and efficiently manage a fleet of more than 800 vehicles across Guatemala, Honduras, Costa Rica and Panama, Forza deployed Zebra’s TC25 mobile computers, DS22X8 scanners and ZD200 & ZD400 series of desktop printers. The solution increases the company’s operational visibility, accuracy and real-time traceability.

“After using Zebra solutions, we realized technology is more than a tool. It actually drives our business strategy to stay competitive in the market,” said Van Ardon, CEO of Forza Cash Logistics. “Zebra devices provided our business with unprecedented visibility into every corner of our operations, allowing us to efficiently and safely manage more than USD$78 billion of goods.”

Before automating its field operations, Forza had paper-based control of its business which resulted in significant delays in the delivery process and human errors. By deploying the Zebra solution, the courier reduced human errors by 99%, maintaining the highest levels of efficiency and competitiveness.

By using rugged mobile computers in route, Forza field workers can track customers’ orders in real time, increasing their associates’ productivity by 20%. This has helped its associates make more informed decisions that have a direct impact on improving customer satisfaction.

Zebra PartnerConnect Premier Business partner, Megabyte Group supported Forza by helping the company find the right solution to address their logistics needs. “Along with Zebra, Megabyte Group offers its customers and transportation and logistics companies, like Forza Cash Logistics, a competitive advantage through modern technology that creates a frictionless and connected supply chain,” said Juan Carlos Márquez, Megabyte Director for Guatemala.

Zebra devices are connected with Mobile Device Management (MDM) software, which also helps Forza optimize operations to seamlessly deliver parcels while providing customers with the speed and information they expect.

“The demands placed on transportation and logistics companies are higher than ever as staff are overextended and under pressure. Compliance remains complex and our customers expect service and information instantly,” said Felipe Behar, VP of Sales and General Manager of North of Latin America at Zebra Technologies. “Zebra designs its mobile computing, scanning, printing, locationing, software and services solutions with front-line users, workplaces, and workflows in mind—building in ease-of-use, reliability and ruggedness to manage inventory from the warehouse to the delivery destination.”
