Zebra was honored for leading the adoption of Industry 4.0 with its manufacturing suppliers globally. Industry 4.0, also known as the Fourth Industrial Revolution, aims to create a smart and agile value chain operation from the start of the product concept to the end of its life.
The Zebra Supply Chain Technical Operations team embarked on being an early adopter of Industry 4.0 to improve competitiveness and rapid response to customers and markets, spearheading a futuristic, digitized vision of manufacturing to drive efficiency. Through the deployment of innovative manufacturing process solutions, increased real-time data capture, visibility, reporting, and predictive and prescriptive analytics, Zebra helps enable its manufacturing suppliers to increase the efficiency of their operations by being more automated, digitally connected, intelligent, flexible and sustainable.
