Text and CTA Banner

Introduction

The Text and CTA Banner displays as a full width banner (or within a background container to center it in the middle of a page) with the ability to add text and a CTA.

See a live example here at the bottom of the page.

Specifications

Character Limit/Usage

The Text and CTA Banner component does not have a strict character limit and can accommodate both short and longer content. However, we recommend using this component primarily for promotional purposes, as illustrated in the examples below. It is best suited for short messages and CTAs and ideally should not be used for extensive content (e.g., more than one paragraph).

The configuration is very simple as the component allows you to add a header and description copy under the properties tab and then add a CTA using the CTA tab. The CTA tab enables you to select all of the available CTA styles. More information about CTA styling can be found here. By default, if you have only one line of text, it will be centered within the component. If you add multiple lines of text, you can then use the alignment options above the text box to position the text as desired.

When adding more than one CTAs, the CTAs will stack on top of each other. When no CTA is used, the text will stretch across the area where the CTAs would reside.

The text should not contain any type of H tags that would mark the CTA as a heading rather than text.

Use Cases and Style Variations

As stated in the introduction, the Text and CTA Banner can span the entire width of the page, as demonstrated below. Additional variations are shown in the carousel; these can either extend fully across the page (without a background container) or be centered within a background container.
