PolyPro 4000D-E

Direct thermal PolyPro label that can be recycled along with PE flexible packaging

Polyethylene (PE) mailing envelopes, or flexible mailers, are very common in e-commerce and small-item shipping. Currently, those mailers are not recyclable in the PE recycling stream. The label and the adhesive contaminate the recycling stream unless the label is removed before recycling. The labels are hard to remove, frustrating environmentally conscious end-users that want recycle as much as possible. The PolyPro 4000D-E solves this problem, by featuring a combination of facestock and adhesive specially formulated to meet The Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR) requirements. When using the PolyPro 4000D-E, consumers can confidently recycle polyethylene packaging without the need to remove the label, therefore speeding up operations and increasing green initiatives.
