Support for direct upgrade to A14 is supported in the February 2026 A14 Lifeguard update 14-38-04.00-UG-U00 and later.

If there is a requirement to configure a PIN, Pattern or Password policies post migration to Android 13 or Android 14, then Admin must send a Password Reset (with a NULL or Empty password value) via EMM console. This is required to reset the internal synthetic password from device. Post this mandatory step Admin can proceed with configuring the required PIN, Pattern or Password policies on device.
