Sally Beauty Holdings Modernizes Store Execution and Communications with Zebra Technologies’ Reflexis Solution

Leading beauty retailer improves business communication, workflows, visibility and labor scheduling with Reflexis Task and Workforce Management solutions

LINCOLNSHIRE, Ill. – Dec. 20, 2022 – Zebra Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ: ZBRA), an innovator at the front line of business with solutions and partners that deliver a performance edge, today announced that Sally Beauty Holdings, a leading beauty retailer offering a range of high-quality products for personal care, is leveraging Reflexis’ software solutions to digitize and automate store execution, activity planning, corporate-to-store communications and document sharing across its chain of over 3,000 Sally Beauty and CosmoProf stores. Sally Beauty Holdings is transforming its stores and upgrading in-store technology to modernize retail operations and ensure a consistent, positive customer experience across the entire chain.

Sally Beauty Holdings chose Zebra’s Reflexis suite of solutions to give store associates a single mobile touchpoint for all store systems used daily. Reflexis Task Manager empowered teams of the retailer’s network with a unified activity calendar to track planning and execution of all business tasks in planograms. Reflexis Q-Docs provided associates with easy access to vendor guidelines, compliance documentation and training resources for over 8,000 SKU items in each store. Reflexis Time and Attendance and Reflexis Workforce Scheduler helped streamline resource allocation and planning in real time, allowing regional managers to increase the number of stores under supervision.

“With Zebra’s Reflexis software solutions, we are able to consolidate multiple store systems, reduce costs and modernize execution,” said Larry Kress, Senior Director, Store Operations, Sally Beauty Holdings. “From a task standpoint, we can now measure how our stores are executing on corporate-generated activities in real time, allowing us to plan and execute much more effectively.”

With associates clocking in, receiving timely compliance updates from the corporate office, and reporting on routine tasks and one-off projects and promotions, staff and managers gained insight into operational efficiencies and bottlenecks allowing for better planning and resource allocation. Equipped with a searchable, up-to-date knowledge center delivered on Zebra’s Reflexis suite, front-line associates now spend more time with customers, improving the in-store shopper experience.

“Zebra’s Reflexis software solutions also enable Sally Beauty Holdings to reduce third-party costs, eliminate manual processes, and save time for district managers, store managers and associates. This improves store execution and provides a better customer experience,” said Suresh Menon, Senior Vice President and General Manager for Software Solutions, Zebra Technologies. “Our solutions enable retailers to streamline and scale their store operations, improve visibility and resource allocation, allowing store associates to spend more time with shoppers to provide better service.”
