(NYSE: MSI), a leading provider of mission-critical communication solutions and services for enterprise and government customers, announced today that Renaissance Seoul Hotel has adopted Motorola Solutions MOTOTRBOTM SL1K digital radios and hotel guest response application, Guestware solutions. As part of an upgrade from its analog-based communications system to a digital system, hotel staff communications and task management are greatly enhanced for consistent customer service quality. Lotte Data Communication Company, the distributor for Motorola Solutions digital radio solutions, was responsible for the design and implementation of the system.
Today, the Renaissance Seoul Hotel is able to connect with guests and in many cases, deliver what they want even before they ask. This level of customer experience was previously not possible or very limited with their analog communication system. In addition to voice communication, hotel staff can now enhance their team communications with applications that increase the efficiency of task management. Working with the MOTOTRBOTM radios, the Guestware solution allows every customer service request to be quickly and accurately delivered to onsite staff from the hotel’s ‘Delighted to Service’ (DTS) dashboard, and right through the process and the completion of tasks.
For instance, a message sent from the DTS dashboard to room or equipment management team members to handle a customer request will be displayed on the staff’s MOTOTRBOTM SL1K digital radio. Once the message is transmitted, the hotel staff can confirm receiving the task and report back to the DTS dashboard immediately using MOTOTRBOTM SL1K radio upon completing the task.
Through the task completion messages sent back to the DTS dashboard, Renaissance Seoul Hotel is able to analyze the duration of time required to complete tasks. The analysis can then be used to evaluate staff performance and check for any difficulties in managing tasks. Renaissance Seoul Hotel expects the newly adopted system to greatly improve and contribute towards a more effective workforce as well as increase customer loyalty from greater customer satisfaction.
