Einige dieser Änderungen sind im Zuge der erweiterten Zusammenarbeit zwischen Zebra und Communications Test Design, Inc entstanden. Beginning June 3, use the new Formulário Para Solicitação De Reparo (RMA) when emailing repair authorization requests. Discard previous versions of the RMA request form and only use this new form when submitting repairs requests by email.

  • The new form is an interactive .pdf which ensures required data fields are completed, and provides several fields with convenient drop-down or date-picker options
  • A new Entitlement Check link takes you directly to Zebra’s Warranty Check tool to quickly verify whether your device serial number is covered by warranty or a Zebra OneCare service contract
  • Use the Add Items button to insert lines for additional devices
  • The Submit button attaches the form to an email with the Zebra address pre-populated

3. Repair Quotations for Printer Per Incident Repairs

Zebra will now process per incident repairs for all products the same way. The flat rate price for printer repairs will now be quoted after the printer has been received and diagnosed by the repair facility.

Zebra’s Repair Help Desk will provide notification when the quote is available. Repair will not begin until the quote has been accepted and a Purchase Order or formal approval has been received.

3. Repair Options for Per Incident (Time & Materials) Repairs

Beginning June 11, for devices not covered by warranty or Zebra OneCare™ contract, please use one of the following per incident (time & materials) repair services most convenient for you:

  • For mobile computer, scanning devices, and all printer models, contact LineaDatascan at (571) 746-6333
  • For desktop, card, industrial, and other non-mobile printers, you may optionally contact a local Printer Repair Specialist (PRS). Use Zebra’s online Partner Locator on Zebra.com to find a local service partner.

Summary of Changes for Zebra Repairs in Canada

On July 8, the repair of mobile computers and scanning products will begin to transition from the Markham, Canada depot to our new repair partner at the address listed below. Now all your Zebra devices will be repaired at the same location.

The repair transition will take place gradually by product family over a period of several months.

Please do take note of the following additional important information:

  • All repairs must be authorized by Zebra and be accompanied by an authorization (RMA) number.
  • The new address will be provided with each repair authorization (RMA).
  • To ensure devices are sent to the correct repair center, customers should use the shipping instructions provided by Zebra with their return authorizations (RMAs).
  • Please discard any pre-printed labels you may have with the old address.
  • This change does not affect the repair location for Zebra printers.

Please note, different devices may need to be returned to separate repair depot locations, even within the same repair order.
