Repair Address Changes
Zebra continues to make important changes affecting the repair of devices in some countries. These changes reflect ongoing efforts to provide best in-class support and repair to our customers.
Please note the following additional important information:
- All repairs must be authorized by Zebra and be accompanied by an authorization (RMA) number
- Always use the shipping instructions Zebra provides with your authorization
- Please discard any pre-printed labels you may have with the old address
Should you have any questions about these changes, please contact your Zebra Representative.
Latin America
+ Brazil
Effective August 16, Zebra will begin using Correios as our new carrier for the return of repaired devices to Brazil Partners and Customers, who will now be able to track these packages online.
Please note the following important information regarding the change:
- Delivery status may be checked on Correios’ Tracking page at www.correios.com.br/rastreamento using the Shipment Tracking # from the shipping notification email that Zebra sends when your device ships from our repair depot. The tracking # information will also be available in the Repair Order Portal.
- Customers with device collection service will continue to have their devices picked up by the current carrier, Fulltime.
Should you have questions about this change or other matters related to repair of your Zebra devices, please contact your Zebra Representative or our Customer Support Team, using the available contact method most convenient for you. Visit Zebra’s Contact Support page for more information.
Europe
+ Ireland
From September 1, our customers in the Republic of Ireland will be asked to ship mobile computers requiring repair directly to Warsaw, Poland, the location of Zebra’s state-of-the-art regional repair centre. While the address on your shipping label will change, your devices continue to be repaired in the same location as before.
Please note the following important information:
- To minimize potential disruptions related to Brexit, in December 2020 Zebra set up a temporary consolidation process for shipments from the Republic of Ireland to our Warsaw repair centre. We are now able to announce that Zebra’s temporary consolidation point in Dublin will close on August 31st, 2021, and Zebra OneCare maintenance plan contracts will, until further communication, include a Collection Service instead. This Collection Service will include, for no additional charge, collections for inbound repairs of Zebra mobile computers (provision 1.3 of the Zebra OneCare Essential Shipping Options and Logistics Supplement will apply). Eliminating this interim aggregation point will streamline the process and should reduce the time it takes devices to reach our depot, so we can begin repairs sooner.
- Please continue to submit repair requests as you do today, using Zebra’s online Repair Order Portal (www.zebra.com/repair ).The Repair Order Portal will guide you through the shipping process. Please note that Zebra is only able to offer this new Collection Service to you if you use the Repair Order Portal or other authorized electronic methods to submit your repair requests.
- Zebra OneCare Essential, Select, and SV customers: If your company has regularly scheduled pickups from Zebra’s carrier (DHL), a prepaid shipping label will be provided to you. Otherwise, if you need to schedule collection of your device, the Repair Order Portal will gather information from you and Zebra will work with you to arrange for pickup and delivery of your device.
- OneCare Select customers will continue to receive their replacement devices as they do today. The Collection Service will apply only to inbound shipping of the defective devices that need to be returned to Zebra in accordance with the OneCare Select terms.
- The Collection Service mentioned herein offered by Zebra does not apply to Per Incident Repairs (billable services) and Warranty repairs. For such cases, customer will remain responsible for inbound shipment to Zebra, as they do today. The only difference is that customer will ship their devices requiring repair directly to Poland.
- There are no changes for customers who use Zebra’s premium OneCare Fastrack Service.
- The Collection Service and associated process changes apply only to customers located in the Republic of Ireland and only for Zebra mobile computers covered by Zebra OneCare Essential, Select, or SV contracts. There is no change for customers located in Northern Ireland.
