According to Zebra’s eighth Global Shopper Study, retailers have bet on online resources that can increase customer engagement, generate loyalty and increase sales volume. 51 percent of buyers have a strong interest in location-based services and in-store Wi-Fi for mobile coupons, shopping maps and receiving in-store assistance. 64 percent of shoppers say they are willing to buy more items if they receive better service and more attention from retailers, while more than half prefer retailers who use technology to create a more efficient shopping experience.
