Lincolnshire, Ill. May 16, 2013 – Zebra Technologies Corporation (NASDAQ: ZBRA), a global leader in products and services that provide visibility into organizations' assets, people and transactions, today announced Dean Crutchfield has been named vice president chief information officer. Mr. Crutchfield will lead and manage the global IT function, which includes planning and managing all internal, company-wide information systems and activities.

Prior to joining Zebra, Mr. Crutchfield spent 14 years at Dell, Inc., most recently as executive director, Dell application services, where he was responsible for enterprise-wide delivery and sustaining support of more than 1,500 IT applications. Previously at Dell, he held senior management positions in supply chain, product development and business intelligence/analytics roles. Mr. Crutchfield also held positions of increasing responsibility in the oil and gas industry, including a 12-year tenure at BP Amoco.
Mr. Crutchfield holds a bachelor of science in business administration with a concentration in management information systems from Central Michigan University in Mount Pleasant, Mich.
